I just read the paragraph about the “yellow daisy” as a possible derivation of “lazy susan.” Could “lazy susan” have originally been “daisy susan”? The lazy/daisy rhyme could be significant!

Google says it was invented by Thomas Jefferson for his daughter Susan. ?
