    I wouldn’t worry about not being able to name 5 NFL teams if your life depended on it, as it reminds me of an Isacc Azimov short story where they flush a spy out of 3 contenders because he’s been too conscientious and is the only one of the 3 who actually knows all the words of the 2nd verse of the national anthem – implication being that nobody ‘normal’ bothers remembering beyond the first verse as that’s all that is ever sung.

    I always thought it was a noun (and spelled “stoops”). My West Indian friends would always use it in that manner as in “don’t do stoops at me.” Maybe that’s a difference in the dialects. Most of my friends, or their parents, come from either Jamaica or Barbados.
