I too was wondering the origins of the term Hussy. Looking over documents on a genealogy site I found I was related to Hussey. A gentleman by the name of Baker went to court, calling a woman loose, stating that she had several men friends. The woman had a last name of Hussey. Could this be the origins of the term?
