Thoth refers to the dark ones as moving in angles and that we need to follow the straight path. So would moving in angles also mean crooked ones or is there a deeper meaning to that?

  2. Patrick Spillman:

I believe it came from General Crook, who, in 1877, lied to the chief of the Oglala, Crazy Horse, on many occasions. He was inept, cowardly and was responsible for the death of Crazy Horse. His soldiers captured Crazy Horse and then stabbed him in the back.

Patrick Spillman< I read an article about 10 years ago referring to General Crook taking bribes, the only difference was it had something to do with telegraph lines being run through Indian reservations which broke Crook's word to the Indians. Combine that with Patrick Spillman's post one could see the Crook in Crook.
